Join this celebration honoring Presidents and their trains!
This historical overview begins in 1833 with President Andrew Jackson, the first
president to ride in a train. Highlighted will be the unique train stories of
President Abraham Lincoln, President Warren Harding, President Franklin
Delano Roosevelt, President Harry S. Truman, First Lady Lady Bird Johnson's
"Special" train campaign for President Lyndon Johnson, President Dwight
Eisenhower, and President George H.W. Bush. It shows trains continue to make
a strong connection for people with their presidents.
